Ashley Paul and Joel Diamond\u2019s partnership is music industry lore. Years ago, Ashley\u2019s father approached his friend and legendary Arista Records executive (the late) Billy Meshel, seeking the perfect producer for his daughter. Michelle called Diamond \u2014 then living in his Central Park South penthouse and riding a wave of platinum successes \u2014 and declared:<\/p>\n
