Lee Brice has released his new song, \u201cCountry Nowadays,\u201d the latest preview of his forthcoming sixth studio album, Sunriser<\/em>. The 16-track project marks his first full-length release since 2020\u2019s Hey World and is available for preorder now.<\/p>\n

Written by Brice alongside Matt Alderman and Nate Kenyon, \u201cCountry Nowadays<\/a>\u201d reflects on modern America through a personal lens, with the husband and father expressing concern over the nation\u2019s direction while yearning for less complicated days. Before performing the track at the Turning Point USA All-American Halftime Show on February 8, Brice explained his motivation, referencing Charlie Kirk: \u201c[Charlie Kirk] gave people microphones so they could say what was on their mind. This is what\u2019s on mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

The album\u2019s title, Sunriser, is a nod to those who start their days before dawn. Brice shared, \u201cAnybody can see a sunset, but a sunrise, you gotta earn. Whether you\u2019re waking up or just pulled an all-nighter, I tip my hat to you, sunriser.\u201d He echoed that sentiment on Instagram<\/a>, writing, \u201cI sure earned my fair share of sunrises workin on this one ; ) can\u2019t wait for y\u2019all to hear this album.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to \u201cCountry Nowadays,\u201d the record will feature previously released 2025 singles \u201cKilled the Man\u201d and \u201cCry.\u201d<\/p>\n
