\u00a0<\/strong>International psychedelic rock ensemble\u00a0FORRM<\/strong>\u00a0today unveils their first single\u00a0\u201cJUNKIE\u00a0WAYZ\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0from the upcoming album\u00a0BOUTIQUE<\/strong>. JUNKIE WAYZ will have its digital\u00a0release\u00a0on 1st<\/sup>\u00a0May.<\/p>\n

FORRM channel a sound that blends distorted guitars, electronic textures and cinematic atmospheres, music that feels as influenced by film and landscape as it does by traditional rock.<\/p>\n

\u201cJUNKIE WAYZ\u201d introduces the album\u2019s core sound; a fusion of psychedelic rock and electronic textures, marking the new material from artist and filmmaker\u00a0Firouz FarmanFarmaian<\/strong>, who wrote the album\u00a0Playground \u2013 Nightology<\/em>, produced by Eric Chedeville (credits include S\u00e9bastien Tellier, Charlotte Gainsbourg and The Weeknd) for Zadig & Voltaire Music.<\/p>\n

Operating between Paris, New York and North Africa, FORRM is positioned as a multi-cultural\u00a0 music collective, developed alongside FarmanFarmaian\u2019s work in film and contemporary art. Across the record, FORRM combines live instruments with studio manipulation, building a sound that moves between rock, ambient and score-driven forms.<\/p>\n

Emerging from the same creative core as FarmanFarmaian\u2019s film projects and contemporary art installations,\u00a0BOUTIQUE was conceived not as a traditional record, but as an immersive sound piece and cinematic fragment.<\/p>\n

The album will launch as a limited cassette edition, embracing a tactile, analogue format in contrast to the frictionless nature of streaming.<\/p>\n
