Kenneth Morris is a singer/songwriter who grew up in the 60s, 70s from parents of sharecroppers working in the fields and factories. He remembers, “It was a time when people at work hummed, they whistled, and they sang without preservation.” He began singing at the age of seven at church functions and family events playing the guitar at age of fourteen. His love for country music, folk music, and pop music came from artists such as: Hank Williams, Jimmie Rogers, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, and many others. With these sounds instilled at an early age; it has led him to write, sing, and record to which many listeners have described his music as: “Heart Music”. These recordings are produced by Eric Johnson of NI Music and Grammy nominated Aben Eubanks. Songs are mixed by Marcus Colbert and Grammy winner Tom Weir. Recorded at Studio City, CA. His desire for each listener to be enriched with the boundless heart felt music from generation to generation, he states, “Country music is here to stay.” He is honored and humbled to participate in hearing the amendable sounds of music. With the release of his new single “My Father’s Field”, Country music is in for quite a beautiful experience.
