Bio/Tour:
Throughout his life, music has been Rob’s constant companion, comforting him in gloomy times and inspiring him in happy times. For Rob, there is no better way to express feelings than singing accompanied by his guitar. Growing up with horses, Rob’s professional path led him first into equine sports, especially into Cutting, a discipline of western riding, which is ridden on horses working cattle. For the past 10 years, he has successfully showed Cutting Horses in Europe and the USA and was on the board of the National Cutting Horse Association of Germany for 6 years, most of this time as president.
People who spend their lives with horses know it – the soul horse. This one horse, to which you have that very special connection. A horse that you can rely on in all situations. For Rob, this soul horse was Primetime Shorty. For almost 10 years, the two were partners in the daily work on the ranch, and on many cutting shows, a team which constantly performed successfully in the Show Pen.
Rob was terribly heartbroken when he found his horse lying dead on the paddock on a Sunday afternoon in November 2018. Without a sign, his partner had unexpectedly gone over the rainbow, without farewell, without a last greeting. As it turns out later, after an examination, Shorty had a vascular rupture in the chest area, which unexpectedly taken him to the other side.
Until then, music was just a hobby of Rob. In the first few weeks after Shorty’s death, Rob was repeatedly overwhelmed with memories of his beloved horse at the ranch, so he decided memorialize his “partner” by writing an emotionally, touching song “Carry The Wind”. Rest in peace Shorty. Until we meet again. |
